Abundant life on barren land

A 15-minute film. This cinematic drama can also be seen in a series of seven shorter clips.

In a small rural village plagued by poverty and famine, desperate villagers try to make their barren fields fertile again. At the centre of the village stands the mayor's villa, a mysterious and inaccessible dwelling. For generations, no one has ever seen the mayor. The citizens silently accuse him of indifference.

Until one day something extraordinary happens... An extraordinary young man arrives in the village and visits the vulnerable and the outcasts. He is kind and his wise words do not go unnoticed either. Until a tragic event causes the villagers to turn against him in frustration, which eventually leads to his death. Days later, his final resting place, drenched in his blood, miraculously comes to life. The barren land has become fertile.

As the village blossoms, the impenetrable gates of the mayor's villa, finally open. The villagers are invited inside and discover that a fruitful life, long since prepared, is waiting for them.

The film contains themes of God's love and compassion for people, Jesus' sacrifice, His death, access to God the Father and a fruitful life, in a surprising new twist.
