About us

We are a community of mainly Arab Christians sharing the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Middle East and North Africa. We produce and distribute TV programmes, social media content, and online discipleship courses in Arabic dialects and other local languages spoken in the Arab World.

Our follow-up team exists of professional counsellors who interact with responders. They listen, pray, advise, help people find a church or provide an online Christian community.

Arab Vision was founded in 1997 to reach out to countries in the Arab World that were closed to the Gospel, using satellite TV for broadcasting our programmes. Now, more than 25 years later, our focus is on the use of social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Soundcloud, and Youtube. We still share our programmes via our satellite TV partners.

We reach millions of Arabs with the good news of Jesus Christ. We engage directly with people through our social media channels.

Arab Vision’s programmes have contributed strongly to church growth in Algeria, we produced the first Christian TV series in Tunisian Arabic ever, Psalms in 4 Moroccan languages, many programmes in Kabyle and series in Kurdish. Besides we have produced hundreds of programmes in Egyptian Arabic, the dialect that everyone throughout the Arab World understands.

Today we reach out to Yemenis, Libyans and Saudis in their own dialects, the language of their hearts.

Organisational structure

Organisational structure

Arab Vision has its headquarters in the Netherlands and has support offices, with their respective boards, in the USA where it is recognized as a 501(c)3 organization, and in the UK, where it is registered as a charity in England and Wales (no 1154993). Arab Vision in The Netherlands has a charity status as well.

The board of Arab Vision in the Netherlands has 3-5 elected members. Members belong to different denominations and we strive to have a good m/f balance. The terms of membership of the Dutch board are two times four years. The Dutch board meets three or four times a year.

The international director is ex-officio member of the board and the boards of the Arab Vision support offices, presently in the USA and the UK, have a seat in the board with voting rights.

The International Office of Arab Vision is a virtual office; most staff members are local co-workers in the Arab World. The international office, the production house, the social media/follow up department and the support offices are spiritually and contractually linked together; the board in the Netherlands is leading in safeguarding the vision of Arab Vision.

SAT-7: Arab Vision’s work creative and dynamic

‘Over the years we have witnessed the creativity and commitment of the Arab Vision teams and their ability to respond to the development of the MENA context and the fast-changing media landscape.

Your programs and projects reflect the spirit of the region and are dynamic enough to make an impact in the worlds of digital and classical satellite platforms.

We pray for God’s grace and rich blessings over your work and our partnership.’

George Makeen, SAT-7 Arabic Channels’ Director

“If there was ever a time that we need each other, pray for one another and approach the world in the Spirit of Jesus’ love, it is now. I urge you to stand shoulder to shoulder with Arab Vision.”

Pastor Bill Lovell of the Arab Vision board in the USA, shares about his love for the ministry of Arab Vision.

“We highly value our longstanding partnership with Arab Vision. The programs they produce are being widely used on SAT-7’s Arabic channels and today are touching the lives of millions of people across the Arab World.”

Dr. Terence Ascott, Founder and CEO of SAT-7 (http://www.sat7.org/)

“The very existence of Arab Vision is a testament to God’s love for the Arab nation.  Like a well in the wilderness that provides wanderers with access to life-saving water, Arab Vision is Beer-lahai-roi:”the well of the Living One who sees me [Hagar].” Day after day Arab Vision faithfully pumps out the comforting, healing, life-saving, sustaining and empowering waters of God so that Arabs might share Hagar’s experience and declare, “Truly here I have seen him who looks after me.” (Gen 16:13-14 ESV) This is a phenomenal ministry addressing an ever-growing thirst; it is worthy of our generous financial and prayer support. The results will be, and already are, amazing!”

Partners and cooperation

There are many organisations we cooperate with in our ministry; probably too many to mention. You will find some on this page.

Arab Vision seeks to cooperate and partner with like-minded organisations to strengthen each other’s ministries, and to express unity and joint efforts to help build God’s Kingdom.

We highly value the long-lasting partnership with our satellite TV broadcasting partners:

Arab Vision provides Sat7, Kingdom Sat, and Miracle Connect  with our TV programmes, we sometimes co-produce programme series, and we discuss trends and project ideas based on felt needs in the Middle East and North Africa.

With JesusNet we produce Sandy Tales in a variety of Arabic dialects: Egyptian, Yemeni, Sudanese, and Libyan Arabic, and also in the Kabyle language spoken in part of Algeria and Morocco.

JesusNet is our partner in creating and implementing online discipleship and evangelism courses as well

A Miracle Every Day is also part of our shared ministry: a daily encouraging email to a growing number of Arab speakers wherever they are.
